Borealis has an ambitious strategy when it comes to transforming our business to become more circular, reducing our CO2 footprint and using more recycled and renewable feedstock.
The new “Asset Transformation" unit includes overall program responsibility for our asset transformation and CO2 roadmap, in close alignment with portfolio management and technical development. In addition, the role is responsible for the coordination and prioritization of ongoing activities in a structured way and to ensure alignment with the Borealis strategy.
The Asset Transformation Manager plays a fundamental role in managing Borealis asset transformation program; set up the program, work with locations, Innotech and business; drive and report on Borealis CO2 journey in the locations with focus on Scope 1 reductions; regularly update the plan; coordinate the asset strategy with the business
**Area of responsibility**:
- Understand the Program context, stakeholder requirements & influence and translate it to define and detail the program objectives in a realistic but challenging way.
- Continuously monitor progress & development versus the status of the program execution plan.
- Anticipate and catch deviations from the plan in an early stage and keep all participants & stakeholders informed.
- Responsible for qualitative reporting and communication.
- Define scope and cost evolution including forecasting.
- Report progress versus project plan including deviations and corrective actions
**About you**:

You have a deep understanding of the structure and operation of the petrochemical industry and its value chain with a good technical understanding of processes.
