The ecosystem they built allow them to collaborate with a broad community of partners, integrators and developers to provide their customers real time control and also operational efficiencies. They are locatetd in more than 100 countries and are looking for a:
**System Drives Firmware Architect**
**Permanent contract - Vienna (Austria)**

**Description**

The purpose of this position is to **develop and maintain the embedded software**. Your tasks will be the following:

- To validate the adequacy of the architecture with the specifications,
- To **build the technical solution** by taking into account: Cyber Security, Functional Safety, global system upgrade and human interfaces,
- To be the** guarantor of the overall technical solution** (robustness, performance and cost),
- To identify trends and associated technical solutions,
- To** lead the definition of test procedures**,
- To identify avenues for improvement,
- To define and propagate internal best practices,
- To participates in activities related to **continuous improvement.**

**Profil**

This position requires** knowledge **of:

- Power electronic and associated mathematical model,
- Power electronic hardware knowledge,
- Design of control loops as well as implementation in real-time embedded firmware and associated constraints,

Your **knowledge in system simulation **enables you to **efficiently collaborate **with the departments hardware and firmware design.

You are **fluent in English** with excellent verbal and written skills. German language skills are advantageous.

In addition, you are** willing to travel **(at home and abroad).
