As part of the train control product development team you are responsible as System Architect for the definition and establishment of the solution architecture according to the customer requirements. With your detailed knowledge of complex and safety critical systems and your technical expertise in challenging projects, you are the right person for this position. Your CHALLENGE- Lead as Software and System Architect along the project life cycle for safety critical railway systems- Acts as a technical expert to define the system architecture according to customer requirements- Establishes the solution architecture through trade-offs between stakeholders’ expectations, technical & technological solutions and cost, risks and schedule in close cooperation with project management- Defines and proposes the solution architecture in compliance with functional and non-functional (safety, reliability, security, etc.) requirements- Working in an international agile team and in cooperation with other business line units

Your PROFILE- Technical education (FH, University), preferably in Computer Science, Informatics or similar- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in full lifecycle software development and system architecture- Experience in industrial context (safety critical, transportation)- Experience in distributed systems, real time systems and fault tolerant systems- Experience in private and/or public cloud environments (Openstack) and container technologies- Certifications on SW/System architecture are beneficial- Experience with working in an international context (multi-unit/multi-site) is beneficial- Experience in agile methodology is beneficial- Innovative, adaptable and customer-oriented team player- Fluency in German and English is a must have

We OFFER- The salary for this position starts at € 73.000 gross p.a.
