**About the role**:
In this responsible and exciting role, you will lead the Vienna Supply Planning Team of Supply Chain Analysts who are responsible for the final drug product planning of all Plasma and Biologics products packed at the Vienna Site and distributed to more than 100 countries. The team must ensure that supply is in line with the sales forecasts and the inventory targets supplied by the markets including product allocation as well as determining and mitigating short-term critical supply situations. This role has wide responsibility interacting with different stakeholders to drive necessary actions and is the first contact in case of topics that require escalation to assure supply continuity. In this position you also support or lead critical supply projects, digital transformation and people development.

**How you will contribute**:

- Lead and manage a team of 10 Supply Chain Analysts in Vienna
- Monitor the execution of agreed plans, measure performance, solve and communicate any deviations from agreed plans to relevant stakeholders as well as work on resolution of escalation topics
- In case of product shortages support the team to develop mitigation plans
- Assure alignment and collaboration with related departments, e.g. Logistics, Packaging Planning, Quality Release, Artwork Management
- Drive continuous improvement of processes & tool(s) in the team and lead related projects
- Act as backup for the Supply Chain Analysts
- Manage resources and workload within the team
- Support Supply Chain Digital Transformation and assure people development

**What you bring to Takeda**:

- Education in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management and/or Logistics - Bachelor degree or several years of proven practical experience
- Work experience in the pharmaceutical or chemical industry very preferable
- Profound process understanding (especially in supply chain planning and logistics area)
- Ability to effectively communicate and influence at different levels of the organization
- Outstanding business acumen as well as commercial and financial understanding
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and strong communications skills
- Flexible personality enjoying work in a dynamic environment
- Excellent in using standard software like MS Office and ERP software (e.g. JDE, SAP)
- Excellent German and very good English skills
