To strengthen our team in the Faculty of Business and Globalisation/Department for Legal Studies and International Relations we are looking for a

Research Associate (M/F/d)

Full-time (38.5 hours/week) or Advertisement No. SB22-0031

part-time (from 30 hours/week possible)

Your tasks:

- Organisational and academic supervision and planning of university courses
- Supervision of interested parties
- Supervision of students and lecturers in person and online via Zoom
- Supervision of lectures in presence and online via Zoom
- Assistance in and participation in university teaching as well as scientific research and publication projects at the department (including connections to US elite universities such as Harvard and Stanford)
- Own scientific research and teaching
- Supervision of students in the preparation of scientific papers
- Support for selected projects in the field of marketing and communication
- Research activities
- Organisation of scientific congresses

**Profile**:

- Completed university degree (at least Master/Diploma) in the field of law
- Excellent German language skills (C2) and good English language skills (B2)
- Excellent MS Office skills
- High degree of independence and ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work in a team, reliability and communication skills

In addition, the following criteria are desirable:

- Completed doctorate/PhD studies or ongoing/planned dissertation project.
- Special interest in (international) corporate and commercial law as well as European law
- Experience in university teaching
- Experience in legal practice
- International experience (e.g. from a semester abroad or work experience)

- A full-time position (38.5 hours per week - flexible working hours) or a part-time (from 30 hours per week - flexible working hours) and EUR 3,004.23 minimum gross monthly salary on a full-time basis of W3/1 Danube University Krems Work and Remuneration Regulations, Willingness to overpay for appropriate qualifications and professional experience
