As one of the industry leaders in Security Software Products and probably the smallest company globally with its own scan engine, IKARUS is continuously on track to shape the international IT security landscape. The products developed by IKARUS itself as well as the products of our partners have been providing IT security for numerous customers for decades. To further strengthen and maintain our well-known position in the IT industry, to modernize our Backend Services, but above all, as a contact person (M/F/x) for our team, we are looking for you.

Tasks

**Your mission**:

- Manage, grow and lead a team of up to 5 developers
- Work closely with the other Team Leads and experts to tackle challenges
- Modernize and maintain existing Backend Services (Therefore you can expect the following Tech Stack: MSSQL, SQLAlchemy, Python, Flask, React.JS, Gunicorn, Docker; RabbitMQ, protobuf)
- Cope with legacy code and implement modern best practices
- Build and implement an effective team structure to handle a variety of different systems

**Requirements**:
**Your qualifications**:

- At least 4 years experience with Backend Services
- Profound experience as a Team Lead preferred
- Excellent knowledge of different Web Service Technologies (HTTP, JSON, Protobuf, REST)
- Expertise in Python and MS-SQL preferred
- An inspiring personality willing to form and build an incredible team(spirit)
