Senior Database Administrator

**Job Description**:

- Conception, setup and administration of databases - preferably Postgres
- Ensuring smooth database operation
- Support and monitoring of databases in the Linux or Unix environment
- Support of internal development in the area of performance tuning
- Development of a higher degree of automation of the daily operation
- Willingness to take over on-call duties - planned for the long term

**Qualifications**:

- Successfully completed IT education (HTL, FH, university, or similar)
- At least 3 years of experience with Oracle, Postgres or another relational database
- Knowledge of Linux / Unix operating systems
- Scripting and automation skills in the database environment
- Experience with the following technologies: Python, Ansible, Git, Terraform - an advantage
- Strong conceptual and analytical skills
- Solution-oriented thinking and acting
- Independent and structured way of working
- Cloud experience - ideally GCP - an advantage
