**Job Description**:

- Design, construction and administration of databases - preferably Postgres
- Ensuring smooth database operation
- Support and monitoring of databases in the Linux or Unix environment
- Support of the development in the area of performance tuning
- Development of a higher degree of automation of the daily operation
- Willingness to take over on-call duties - planned for the long term

**Qualifications**:

- Technical education (IT apprenticeship, HTL, or similar)
- High willingness to learn
- First experiences with Linux operating systems
- First experiences in the field of automation - advantageous
- Ability to communicate and work in a team
- Solution-oriented thinking and acting
- Independent and structured way of working
- Good knowledge of German and English
