**Job Description**:

- Design reliable, scalable and responsive high-load solutions for cloud and on-prem and lead the definition, implementation and evolution of architecture
- Define the architecture of your products to match our customers’ requirements
- Lead the definition, implementation and evolution of architecture
- Ensure that your products meet requirements regarding quality, security, modifiability, extensibility etc.
- Make decisions on architecture and technology related topics for your products
- Coordinate technical details with lead software engineers
- Provide technical guidance and coaching for developers, engineers and other team members
- Collaborate on overarching topics with the central architecture team
- Contribute to our overall architecture and technology stack a part of our communities of practice
- Define and implement processes and management systems suitable for the cloud
- Continuously drive the move to cloud and optimize cloud usage to reduce spend and improve service quality and optimize service delivery.
- Partners with business leaders to act as an advisor to IT strategic planning efforts
- Facilitates cloud strategy decisions through consulting and support in execution
- Introduces new technologies and methodologies to support cloud transformation
- Analyzes industry, technology, and market trends to determine their potential impacts on the enterprise
- Analyzes the current business and IT environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommends solutions for improvement
- Leads and facilitates the creation of governing principles to guide solution decision making for the enterprise
- Consults with program/project teams to fit solutions to architecture across all viewpoints
- Engages with Vendors to stay informed about innovation and changes in services
- Ensure stakeholder needs are known and translated into understandable service and support offerings and transformation projects.
- Leading role in stakeholder alignments across all IT segment functions

**Qualifications**:

- Completed technical education with focus on IT (HTL, FH, TU) or comparable qualification
- Several years of experience as solution or infrastructure architect
- Excellent knowledge of infrastructure and solution design and architecture
- Knowledge of server and storage technologies is beneficial
- Knowledge of container technologies (Docker and Kubernetes) is beneficial
- Cloud knowledge (GCP and Azure) is beneficial
- Technical mindset with great attention to detail
- High quality organizational and communication skills
- Independent and goal-oriented way of working
