Community & Events Specialist Austria

At a Glance:
We are looking for a Community and Events Specialist to join the Austrian Marketing Team and drive the local consumer & community initiatives - creating meaningful relationships and partnerships that position On at the heart of the running and trail running community. You will be responsible for all local community initiatives, partnerships and event delivery - helping grow On's fan base and connection with runners. You are a true brand ambassador, consistently driving engagement with the brand, and are deeply connected to what is happening within our community. The role reports into the Austrian Marketing Lead and will work cross-functionally with Marketing, Tech Rep, Event and D2C teams.

Your Mission:

- Connect and ignite the brand with run crews, clubs, and groups - creating relationships as an authentic part of their communities.
- Build and manage On's ambassador program, own the ambassador activation calendar and scale community outreach in line with Central Europe's grassroots approach.
- Build key strategic partnerships with key city and regional focus, helping grow brand awareness and engage with a new audience.
- Build and manage local initiatives and programs with key charity and social partners that help ignite the power of the human spirit - helping make running accessible to all and giving people the space to dream.
- Own and deliver all key event logistics, programming, and activation within the market - from On events such as SquadRace to sponsored races, expos, and conceptual brand moments.
- Work closely with the D2C team to create event concepts, programming, and execution within brand spaces and community hubs.
- Build the bridge to On's key city Berlin, and extend activation plans to Austria.

Your Story:

- Highly engaged and connected member of the running community - with a particular focus on Vienna.
- A deep understanding of running culture and an expert on big city clubs, crews, and running groups (i.e. Vienna, Innsbruck, Graz).
- An understanding of what it takes to build and grow a community - ideally with first-hand experience.
- Experience in event planning and execution - from a running race to entertainment/hospitality.
- Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset - naturally curious, creative problem solver, and action orientated.
- Highly organized with experience managing multiple projects and stakeholders.
- Excellent relationship-building skills - both externally and internally across teams and managing external partners.
- Fluent in German & English.
