Process Dynamics & Control Lead, GMSci

**_ OBJECTIVES:_**
- Lead and implement GMSci Process Dynamics and Control Engineering strategy with shared objectives & key results with DD&T and clear measurable expected outcomes
- Develop and implement product-specific manufacturing unit operation process dynamics and control strategies, i.e., leveraging on established digital platforms and infrastructure to create digitizable numeric (mechanistic, hybrid and statistical) models for product-specific unit operation simulation that incorporates parameters and fundamental properties such as thermodynamics, transport phenomena, fluid dynamics and molecular kinetics
- Lead assessment and piloting of novel PAT & sensor integration and control technologies that could catalyze meaningful improvements for manufacturing process control
- Lead and establish process simulation capabilities (dry-lab) for process visualization, trouble shooting, problem solving and predictive modeling
- Drive to achieve manufacturing process efficiency improvements with measurable results, e.g., reduce process deviations and discard/failure rates, improve yields and productivity and ensure high product quality, and ensure applicability across OpUs
- Partner with R&D/Pharmaceutical Sciences on integrating process control concept during product development phase and building mechanistic, hybrid and statistical models for process simulation
