Tasks

Your territory

**As part of our Hardware/Firmware team, you will**:

- Be our eyes and ears at external manufacturers to ensure that pets worldwide receive highest-quality GPS trackers
- Monitor and improve quality assurance at the factory
- Be responsible for factory test process optimization
- Be the link between our external manufacturers and internal development teams
- Make sure that every hardware change will be smoothly integrated into our manufacturers’ production processes
- Support manufacturers when production problems occur and drive the investigation if necessary
- Help set up and validate new process steps in production
- Bring in your fresh ideas and experience to make Tractive better - you’ll never hear the phrase “...because that’s how we’ve always done things”
- Continuously grow personally and professionally, take ownership of areas that show your potential, and attend workshops which help you get to the next level

**Key requirements**:

- Experience with electronic manufacturing in China
- Knowledge of electrical engineering and hardware development
- Great communication and organizational skills
- Willingness and flexibility to frequently visit our manufacturers on site (Dongguan/Shenzhen/Hongkong; ~2-4x/month)
- Excellent English skills
- Excellent Chinese skills (Mandarin and/or Cantonese)

**Just so you know what to expect**: For this position, we offer a competitive overpayment based on qualification and experience. Annual gross salary starts at € 42,000 full-time - at Tractive that means a 4-day work week with a 3-day weekend. If you bring relevant experience in many of the fields of responsibility, the salary will be considerably higher.
