**Position overview**:
This position presents an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to make a significant impact in the field of composite materials and contribute to our ongoing innovation and success.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead for gelcoats project development
- Guide chemists and technicians on laboratory resins cooking and evaluation, process support, instrumental analysis
- Ensure successful transfer of new products recipes to mass production
- Perform laboratory products testing in terms of process and product specifications
- Provide technical assistance to production
- Be involved in technical presentations about allnex products and conduct trainings to customers when needed
- Responsible for the successful up-scaling of products from laboratory to production
- Initiate and implement continuous project optimization/cost methods
- Assist in rework inventory by identifying alternative use in existing products
- Ensure intellectual property is protected and keep track of the IP landscape
- Maintain safe and regulatory compliant laboratory work environment in accordance to Good Laboratory Practice and through proper usage of personal protective equipment (PPE)

**Required skills and experience**:

- PhD in Chemistry / Chemical Engineering
- Managerial experience is preferred but not required
- Project management through stage/gate process
- Collaboration and team working
- Good analytical and problem solving skills
- Results oriented personality
- Very good communication skills
- Fluent in English and German (writing and speaking)
