Besi is a **leading supplier of semiconductor assembly equipment **for the global semiconductor and electronics industries. We are constantly looking for motivated and highly qualified staff for our Tyrolean subsidiary based in** Radfeld **in Austria

**To expand our team, we are looking for someone to fill the following full-time (38.5 h) position as soon as possible**:
**Project Buyer m/w/d**:
**Your new responsibilities**: Your future area of responsibility includes the independent execution of the following activities:

- Define supply chain inside projects in close team work with Engineering, Planning and Commodity Managers
- Organize material for prototype (fast lane), consider early involvement of suppliers in EU and Asia
- Launch PO (Purchase Orders) in SAP (incl. date and cost controlling)
- Execute RFQ (Request for Quotation) process (incl. benchmark and DFM (Design for Manufacturing))
- Negotiate prices based on open calculation (incl. lead-time and total cost)
- Initiate QC’s (Quantity Contracts), e.g. for LLI (Long Lead Items) by launching Pre Sourcing Request
- Organize phase in new products in Operational Purchasing in Asia (Malaysia and China)

**Our requirements**:

- Technical / commercial education (apprenticeship, HTL) and / or finished study
- Approx. 5 years progressive experience in similar position in an international environment
- Working knowledge and extraordinary understanding of purchasing process
- Proficiency at SAP and Microsoft Office
- Analytical skills and a passion for Excel
- Maintain and provide current understanding of industry best practices and technology trends
- Business fluent German & English knowledge
- Willingness to traveling (focus EU)
- Communicative & customer-oriented personality (Negotiator, Team Worker)
- Strong commitment
