Post Contract Procurement Package Manager - Electrical - 12 Month Contract - Austria
Are you a Post Contract Procurement Package Manager looking for your next contract role? We have a fantastic opportunity for our valued client for a brand-new Data Centre project based in Austria.
Experienced at delivering highly efficient projects for state-of-the-art Data Centres around the world, our client is a global leader in design, engineering and delivery of facilities for high tech industries. This is your chance to join an innovative, market leading data centre company as Post Contract Package Manager and take responsibility for the day-to-day sourcing of suppliers for the project at hand.
**Post Contract Procurement Package Manager Responsibilities**:
Identify and qualify subcontractors.
Extract quantities from design documents and create a pricing document.
Lead RFx event including preparation and collation of documents through liaising with internal departments such as scheduling, legal, construction and engineering to ensure scope is fully understood.
Work closely with supply chain to ensure they understand the RFP and working with the internal team members to resolve any issues that arise during the bid process.
Complete commercial bid analysis of retuned offer including checking misaligned quantities or rates and resolving any clarifications, exclusions and deviations ensuring risk is mitigated for Exyte.
Lead Commercial bid clarification meetings.
Liaise with Project Procurement Manager and legal team to highlight and resolve contractual issues raised by subcontractor during RFP process.
Liaise with Project Procurement Manager and scheduling, construction and engineering team to highlight and resolve any schedule issues raised by the subcontractor.
Identify suppliers and manage any engagements between them and other stakeholders.
Once alignment is reached on preferred bidder and budget in place, raise order.
Align procurement practices with the global procurement and subcontracting policies and procedures.
Transition sourcing knowledge and information to post-contract procurement teams.
**Post Contract Procurement Package Manager Requirements**:
Ability to take ownership and responsibility of the tasks they are performing.
Computer literate with working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Personable with problem solving attitude.
Has continuous improvement mindset.
Good understanding of CSA (Civil, structural, architectural) procurement, materials, ordering, reporting.
Very strong negotiation skills.
Experience and Knowledge of SAP Ariba and SAP 4/HANA - (QS Software)
GERMAN Speaking would be Highly Beneficial
