We are looking for an experienced **Senior Director, Partners CEMEA** to join our Sales team. You will bring passion, take ownership of developing a wider network or ecosystem of partners or collaborators to help us develop the skills we need. **Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing?**
- Within 30 days, understanding and supporting an incredible CEMEA & EMEA partner team focused on driving VMware Partner Business through different RTM (route to markets). You will be bringing innovative thinking to support the organisation to drive change towards Service and SaaS oriented partners, capable to develop VMware’s focus in Modern Application, EUC, and Multi-Cloud. You will be creating and sharing ideas with the extended CEMEA management and your peers in NEMEA/SEMEA as well as the EMEA EPCO management team to support and grow the business.
- Within 60 days, taking control of numerous ongoing and new launching corporate channel initiatives and programs, securing with your field team participation and execution to drive partner pipeline.
- You will be single point of contact for the EMEA Partner team for execution requests, inquiries, escalations, and feedback requests. From there you will be part of the EMEA EPCO management team and execute on activities decided in team meetings. You will be the voice of CEMEA partners in these meetings. You will drive half-yearly business plans with your field business partner managers to develop key partner in line with VMware’s strategy and vision.
- You will be facilitating community and helping to develop plans for partner subregional leads and partner business manager to support their future direction
- Within 90 days, you will establish and further maintain relationship to key CEMEA partner executives. You will be the CEMEA delegate for Partner Leadership Summit (PLS), the key partner executive Corporate events.
- You will be key part of the CEMEA leadership team, facilitating collaborative engagements between partners and customers of different business units to support greater revenue streams.
**The Work: What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?**
- You will focus to define, execute, and monitor the Partner ‘Strategy’ in CEMEA in support of the regional VP and in collaboration with CEMEA Regional Sales Leaders/Regional PDs, Marketing, Technical Services (PSO/SE teams) Sales Operations and Partner Enablement. Strategy focusing on driving the sales performance of new and/or existing: Distributors, Solution Providers
- You will support Product Management (EMEA & Corporate), Cloud Infrastructure Business Development Director & Partner Program team (Corporate) to define the appropriate Product offerings & Partner Programs for each Partner type. This will require close collaboration with EMEA Partner functional leads (Distribution, Solution Providers, OEM Alliances, SI/SO Alliances & Inside Sales)
- Your other task will be to represent company in events: present to channel partners (existing & potential), present to groups of customers (with Partners) and engage with relevant business or channel press/analysts
- You will maintain knowledge of VMware Product Offering, VMware Channel and OEM Partner Programs, pricing programs/incentives/promotions
- You will position yourself as SME to EMEA Regional Directors, EMEA Partner Directors and to EMEA wide OEMs, SI/SOs and Channel Partners

- In this role you will be part of the CEMEA Sales team and reporting directly to our VP and General Manager of Germany Armin Mueller.
