Head of Engineering (To be based in Vienna or Sofia)

Role Description

Enery is an operations-led renewable power infrastructure investment company that provides affordable and reliable clean energy to its customers. We are a growth company focused on both acquiring operating renewable power plants and developing new renewable power plants.

Having successfully closed investments of 156 MW Solar PV portfolio, we aim to develop our greenfield portfolio in the CEE region. Given a strong and extensive development pipeline to be executed in the next years, we are looking for a Head of Engineering to lead our internal and external PVP planners in order to provide conceptual and detailed designs of photovoltaic plants and support development, engineering and construction of PVP projects.

Aufgaben

Key Responsibilities
- Lead Enery Engineering and design team for Enery pipeline across CEE region
- Interface between Engineering and Design TEAM with:
**Internal parties**:

- Enery Development team
- Enery Construction team
- Enery M&A team
- Enery Procurement team

**External parties**:

- Technical advisors (Technical DD)
- Lenders
- Suppliers
- Local Transmission and Distribution system operators
- EPC companies (together with Construction team)
- Management of design processes by using internal (Enery Design and Engineering team) and external (third party subcontractors) teams for reaching demanding timelines
- Together with Construction team to prepare final designs and specifications project according to country specifics
- Manage internal requests workload establishing proper timeline prioritizing among different stakeholders and projects
- Technical support for existing and new assets, optimizing design in terms of costing, construction and ESG requirements
- Plan proper training for existing team to be fully up to date with new market trends
- Collaborate in selection of new technologies and provide technical feedback on Enery innovation initiatives

Qualifikation

**Requirements**:

- At least 8 years of work experience in construction of PV projects globally or in the CEE region
- Technical Engineering degree
- Ability to manage design projects from development and planning to installation and execution
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Enthusiastic personality with can-do attitude
- Flexible, open-minded and enthusiastic team player with an international mindset - Enthusiastic about renewable energy
- Knowledge on specific software available in the renewable energy market in order to manage designers’ teams using such tools (e.g. PVsyst, PVcase, Helios3D, AutoCAD, MS Project)
- Ability to manage and motivate a multidisciplinary team to achieve demanding goals being a mentoring figure
