Junior Engineering Manager

PriceHubble is a PropTech company, set to radically improve the understanding and transparency of real estate markets based on data-driven insights. **Your Team**
- You will lead a team composed of 7 frontend, backend and QA engineers, 1 Product Owner and 1 UX designer, distributed in many locations in Europe.
- The team is in charge of several customer-facing products (Property Advisor, Portfolio Manager, Lead Generator) that are part of B2B and B2B2C offer from Price Hubble.
- Working with state-of-the-art technologies such as Angular, React, python (Flask, FastAPI, Django), Postgres, Kubernetes, Google Cloud Platform, Datadog.

**Your Responsibilities**
- You manage a team of (5 to 7) frontend, backend and qa engineers.
- You interact constantly with the product owner, the tech leader and UX team.
- You must be hands-on because you are expected to code for 30%/50% of your time.
- You work collaboratively with the other teams to develop an outstanding product.
- You will be responsible for the happiness, tech and career growth of the members of your team.
- You will drive the hiring and capacity planning for your team.
- You will be responsible with the product owner for the team delivery.
- You contribute with your ideas to our product development and system architecture.
- You manage tasks, priorities, deadlines and deliverables in accordance with the whole agile team with your passion to turn the user needs into a powerful digital (web and mobile) solution.
- You solve obstacles with the team, identifying problems or improvement areas, investigating potential causes, and proposing solutions ensuring deadlines are met.

**Requirements**:
**Who we are looking for**
- You have at least 1+ years experience leading small teams (at least 4 people).
- You want to evolve in the management career path but keep your hands on at the time being.
- Experience with back end development, API design, microservice and relational databases.
- Good Knowledge of Python. Experience with Django and/or FastAPI is a recognized plus.
- Experience with best practices and tools for service scalability and observability is required..
- Experience with Cloud and Kubernates is a plus.
- You can communicate future plans and direction to technical and non-technical people.
- You love to be up to date and take initiative to change legacy processes or technology usage if there is something better out there.
- You must be an empathic person.
- You have a startup mindset, taking ownership and getting things done.
- You are comfortable working and communicating in English.
- You enjoy working in an international and distributed environment.
