Data Integration Lead

Das erwartet Sie
- In this role, you will perform the senior management function for data integration, physical data modelling, data lineage/data streams and data transformation for all systems and (primary) departments across Wiener Linien.
- You will take over technical leadership and will be responsible for all activities in the data integration area of Wiener Linien, e.g. Extract-Load-Transform (ETL), Extract-Transform-Load (ELT), particularly on data platforms (Data Lakehouse - Enterprise Data Warehouse, Big Data etc.).
- You will bear responsibility for integrating the metadata platforms (functional and technical ), technical data modelling platforms (e.g. Collibra, Infogix, Dataspot etc.) and technical data catalogue platforms (e.g. Apache Atlas, Cloudera SDX, Azure Synapse Data Catalog etc.).
- You will also contribute operational work, collect Wiener Linien-internal data and prepare this to ensure the further development of the existing KPIs and the development of new ones.
- You will further create statistical analyses about the data sources and perform quality checks for the data products.
- You will be the link between the data users and the data professionals (data experts) at Wiener Linien.

Das bringen Sie mit
- You will have completed academic training in economics, business information systems, IT or similar.
- You will have gained at least five years of professional experience in the field of BI, data analysis, physical data modelling, data integration and/or data transformation.
- You will have extensive experience with handling larger data volumes in MS Office, ETL tools (Talend, Informatica etc.); experience with BI tools (Excel, Qlik, MS Power BI, Tableau etc.) would be an advantage.
- You are very familiar with relational databases, especially DWH technologies and big data.
- You have also gained plenty of experience with programming and script languages in the data area - especially SQL and/or Python.
- Additional experience with visualisation techniques would be an advantage.
