**What to do**:

- Build and maintain an inventory of architectural improvement measures and cast them into a feasible plan
- Be the first touchpoint for new initiatives within the Markets Solutions tribe, ensuring that architecture guidelines and standards are followed
- Advise colleagues and help them to create their software/solution architecture
- Support strategic decisions and contribute to target architecture design
- Evaluate new technologies, generate ideas and prove them through implementing PoCs
- Coordinate improvements in various areas, e.g. security, documentation, CI/CD processes, operational resilience, etc.
- Continuously align and collaborate between Markets Solutions tribe and architecture board/CTO

**You check these boxes**:

- Curious and empathetic, passion for teamwork and treating all people with respect
- Quick wit, analytical and structured thinker - best case you have worked in a consulting/advisory role before
- JAVA software engineering background (min. 5 years) and ready to walk the talk, i.e. write code snippets and review code
- Familiar with Cloud platforms (Google, AWS), integration technologies (Kafka, 3scale), security and architecture frameworks
- Strong interest in convincing others to learn something new and explore new technologies
- Beneficiary would be any experience within financial industry/banking or with mainframe (Cobol/Natural/DB2) migration projects
- Fluent in English; German or Slovak is an advantage
