In this position you will coordinate procurement activities, select, evaluate the performance of and negotiate with suppliers seeking maximum value for the company for money, relationship and performance management of suppliers through time and cost agreements.

**YOUR AREA OF RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Responsible to source, negotiate and purchase materials from both local and overseas vendors understanding business needs and select the best suppliers to achieve long term goals while focusing on total cost of ownership
- Evaluate vendor’s quotation to ensure that they are in line with specifications required for the project
- In charge of daily operational purchasing needs such as planning, issuing and following up on and negotiating with suppliers on a global level up to contract finalization
- Evaluate supplier performance based on quality standards, delivery time & best prices and ensure all the criteria are met according to the internal procedures
- Process orders, execute leasing and manage and drive down the number of invoices on hold (IOH), ensuring a robust procure to pay process
- Work in full compliance with the company procurement policy, educating and driving the correct behaviours of business stakeholders
- Auditing and monthly reporting of implemented procurement policies and guidelines on a global level (travel costs, contracts, etc.)
- Providing administrative and other support to the head of global procurement
- Managing and driving various projects

**YOUR PROFILE**
- Strong experience in supplier management and negotiations.
- Minimum of 2 years in a procurement position or 5 years administrative/support role
- University degree or equivalent with focus in Finance or Business Administration preferred
- Good understanding of procurement procedures as well as industry standards
- Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills in English is a must, in German and other languages an advantage
- Strong sense of confidentiality, initiation, responsibility, organization, ownership and excellent attention to detail
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly Word and Excel
