In this position you will:

- Learn about **power electronics **and **device behavior **of next generation SiC MOSFET technologies

Take the chance to expand your theoretical knowledge from the university and enrich it with practical / hands-on experience in the areas of:

- Application relevant **stress testing **of power semiconductors
- Usage of the **latest measurement equipment **for **high-speed power semiconductors**:

- Control and operation of **power electronic laboratory setups**:

- **PCB **assembly, rework, and soldering
- How to debug and find the **root cause **for **unexpected behavior**:

- **Big data handling **and **data post-processing**:

- Preparation and presentation of **measurement results**

Type of employment: Temporary / part-time (Flexible working hours from Monday to Friday between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m.)

You are best equipped for this task, if you:

- Are currently enrolled in a technical study, such as **Electrical Engineering **, **Power Electronics **or similar
- Gained knowledge of using **lab equipment**:

- Bring basic knowledge in the field of **power electronics **and **schematic design**:

- Bring some experience with **Rapid Controller Prototyping (RCP) **equipment and/or **Hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) **systems **(e.g. PLECS/Speedgoat)
- Have solid **English **language skills **, German language skills would be a plus
- Motivation letter

- Certificate of matriculation at a university (you must be enrolled and not on academic leave)
- Latest Transcript of records (not older than 6 months)
- Highest completed educational certificate (Matura certificate for Bachelor students, Bachelor certificate for Master students)
