**About the role**:
**Location**:Head Office in Vienna, Austria.

To strengthen the legal team in our head office in Vienna, we are looking for a **Legal Counsel** who will advise on assigned legal areas of law and support defined business areas from a legal point of view.

**We need your expertise to**:

- Draft, review and negotiate contracts in different business areas with focus on commercial matters (e.g. supply, purchase)
- Additionally advise on legal aspects relating to regulatory matters in **the recycling / circular economy area and support project **related legal work (e.g. engineering and equipment procurement, cooperation agreements)
- Ensure compliance with applicable corporate laws and internal corporate rules
- Train Borealis employees on legal and ethics topics on a regular basis and act as an “Ethics Ambassador”
- Assist in selecting, contracting, supervising external lawyers for assigned legal tasks and projects while Borealis’ standards and goals are safeguarded and adhered

**Additionally you will**
- Monitor legal developments (legislation, case law) and update the legal department and business partners about important changes
- Work independently and in teams, take initiative and be self-motivated

Following Austrian law regulations, we offer, reflecting your experiences, skills and competencies, competitive compensation based on the collective labour agreement starting at EUR 81.600 annual gross salary (based on 38 hrs/week) and are willing to pay more based on your experience and background. In addition, we offer a yearly bonus and a voluntary company pension plan.
