Associate or Full Professor in Entrepreneurship and

**Your responsibilities**:
Modul University Vienna is seeking an outstanding scholar for an Associate or Full Professor position for its new Research Center to conduct research and teach undergraduate and graduate courses in the areas of entrepreneurship and innovation. This position provides opportunities to take leadership roles in various strategic fields of the university (e.g., Non-Degree Programs, Modul University Vienna Start-up Hub).
The responsibilities include:
- Perform teaching activities at all levels (bachelor’s, master’s, PhD, and executive education). The teaching load for this position is 5 units/week per semester (1 unit = 45 minutes of teaching), i.e., 10 units/week per year (for 40 h/w).
- Contribute to Modul University’s teaching programs in the field of entrepreneurship and innovation (on bachelor’s and master’s level) in terms of leadership and teaching in the core programs.
- Take a role in the university’s self-governance and third mission activities.
**Your profile**:
- A solid academic qualification (e.g., PhD, habilitation) in entrepreneurship, innovation or a related field;
- An outstanding international reputation for high quality scholarship in the area of entrepreneurship and innovation and related fields commensurate with academic age, especially by having demonstrated the ability to publish in top-tier journals of the field;
- Ability to attract external funding to support research programs and to successfully build collaborative research programs with other universities, research institutes, and industry;
- Excellent teaching qualifications at undergraduate and graduate levels, as well as in executive education;
- Leadership skills to further develop the area of entrepreneurship and innovation at Modul University Vienna;
- Excellent spoken and written English language skills; proficiency in German language is welcome.

**Further information**:
This is a part-time or full‐time, unlimited contract position where applicants are prepared to work up to 40 hours per week (with overtime hours). The initial salary for 40 h/week is
**EUR 80,000 for an Associate Professor or EUR 108,000 for a Full Professor **before taxes (plus approx. 30% Arbeitgeberanteil = contribution to the social security and pension fund paid by the employer according to Austrian Law), with additional remuneration for extra teaching or supervision of theses.
