Product Owner at Metaloop

As the Product Owner responsible for the B2B online initiatives at Metaloop, you will play a pivotal role in driving the development and enhancement of our front-facing products. The metal scrap recycling industry is complex, and our unique online presence is a comparative advantage to position our company and its services, as well as a powerful lead nurturing tool for converting industrial clients.

In this dynamic role, you will collaborate closely with key stakeholders both internally and externally to ensure the success of our client facing online initiatives. Leading a small pod consisting of two talented developers, you will work hand in hand with our shared design team to translate customer needs into impactful user experiences.

Reporting directly to the Head of Product, Jonathan Sivak, you will have the privilege of being the voice of our customers. By understanding their pain points and requirements, you will have the opportunity to shape the direction of our website and embedded products and drive the creation of user-friendly designs that enhance their overall experience for new and existing customers.

Tasks

What will you do
- Lead the development of the online client facing product through collaboration across the entire organization to ensure we are always executing on our shared vision.
- Own outcome-oriented targets and ensure teams are enabled to deliver them, moving easily between ‘big picture’ thinking and finite granular details.
- Work with the product and dedicated engineers in your pod to craft customer experiences, from ideation, through development, to launch, growth, and maintenance.
- Be the day-to-day point person in the product team to ensure complex requirements are broken down into clear, simple objectives & acceptance criteria to maximize value.
- Use data and UX research to gather insights, refine solutions, and justify your decisions.

**Requirements**:
What you bring to the table
- 3+ years of product management and/or product development experience, ideally in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid understanding of product design processes and Agile methodologies.
- Natural ability to make things happen, manage project ambiguity, complexity, and interdependencies in an organized and structured manner.
- Experience with B2B Marketplaces/online retail businesses is a plus.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Analytical mindset and attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel.
- Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus.
