SOS Children's Villages, founded in 1949 by Hermann Gmeiner, is the world's largest non-governmental organization focused on supporting children and young people without parental care, or at risk of losing it.

**Location**:Innsbruck or Vienna/Austria
**Duration**: 6 Months, 38,5 hours/week

**Tasks & Responsibilities**
- Coordinate the production of content/news for the Collaboration Platform (global intranet) according to Editorial Plan. This includes the task to develop, research, produce, write and edit texts and news pieces.
- Support the task to manage and improve the Collaboration Platform as one of our main internal communications channel_
- Support and guide colleagues of other teams in how/where they present information on the Collaboration Platform.
- Support the task to manage and maintain the parts on the Collaboration Platform for which Federation Communications / Internal Communications is responsible for.
- Upload news, content and documents on the Collaboration Platform.
- Support specific tasks / projects like the production and dissemination of the Global Newsletter, communications toolkits, re-launch of About Us-section on the Collaboration Platform.
- Align and build up Federation Communications / Internal Communications workspaces on the Collaboration Platform.
- Prepare monthly analytics of Collaboration Platform for internal presentation.
- Support the planning and organization of internal communications events, activities and campaigns.
- Support the Internal Communications team with other duties as assigned (e.g. organising team calls, preparing presentations, conducting research, creating documents, etc)

**Requirements**:

- Degree in communications, marketing or related discipline
- Strong and manifold writing skills
- Proactive working style and able to work independently
- Excellent organizational skills
- Hands-on mentality
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Good knowledge of MS Office
- Experience working with content management systems (CMS); knowledge of sharepoint would be an asset.
- Applicants must hold a valid Austrian working permit or be eligible to work within the EU
- Good communication skills in English; Spanish or French an asset
