**We are excited to announce that Borealis is looking for a Communications Expert in Internal Communication.**

Are you looking for a new challenge in a diverse and international team of communications colleagues located around Europe and abroad?

Would you like to work on exciting topics in an evolving and transforming industry in a company with a strong focus on sustainability?

In this role, you will support in creating a dialogue with key target audiences via corporate online and offline channels, specifically focusing on internal communications. You will work closely with the Group Communications team and stakeholders across the company to create and manage content to contribute to internal communications channel performance and evolution. You will drive communication of key strategic topics and foster engagement, ensuring consistent, optimised corporate and business communication in a purpose-driven way to proactively support and evolve Borealis reputation globally.

**You will be**:

- Supporting Borealis’ internal communications strategic planning, development, implementation and monitoring in order to foster engagement and awareness of key initiatives
- Supporting the corporate content strategy, editorial planning, and publication of communication activities such as intranet content, campaigns, videos, event promotion and other activities
- Developing communication assets (e.g. articles, videos, campaign content, offline materials), either in house or via briefing and managing external competence partners
- Managing internal corporate communications channels and tools, including providing support to colleagues across the company in creating/publishing their content as well as coordinating relevant approval processes, ensuring alignment with the necessary stakeholders and validation by senior management
- Supporting the strategic and functional evolution of the corporate intranet and coordinating alignment with key internal and external partners on the way forward
- Evaluating offline/online channels and tools for effective internal communication campaigns and establishing consistent measurement tools
- Managing quality assurance of channel performance of communication activities by consistently implementing standards, processes and best practices
- Supporting development and maintenance of key communications frameworks and guidelines across the organisation via various tools and platforms
- Participating in projects relevant to the respective functional area, working in cross-functional teams and key stakeholder groups

**About you**:
You hold a Bachelor’s (ideally Master’s) degree in Communications, alternatively Business, Marketing or Branding with focus on Communications and you have several years of experience in a similar role within an international environment.

You need to be fluent in English and German at business level and comfortable composing content in both languages.

It would be great if you already have experience in:

- communications project management (e.g. project planning, documentation, stakeholder management, etc.)
- content creation (e.g. messaging, copywriting, campaign concepting, etc.)
- content publication in content management systems (e.g. Sharepoint, etc.)

Overall, we are looking for a proactive, enthusiastic and self-motivated team player who enjoys sharing knowledge with others just as much as working independently in their own projects.

**About Borealis and our offer**:
Following Austrian law regulations, we offer, reflecting your experiences, skills and competencies, competitive compensation based on the collective labour agreement starting at EUR 55.600;
- annual gross salary (based on 38 hrs/week) and are willing to pay more based on your experience and background. In addition, we offer a yearly bonus and a voluntary company pension plan.
