As Business Development Manager - International at smec, you are the key driver for our International Business Development Process and convince with your goal-focused mindset. By leading the market research process, conducting intelligent prospecting and qualifying leads, you achieve financial growth and have a significant impact on the success of our company

**Your tasks**:

- You establish and optimize the Business Development process from qualification stage to hand over.
- You take over responsibility for the Sales pipeline and opportunities generation.
- You actively prospect relevant customer opportunities in the international online retail sector.
- You are responsible to pitch smec products with determination and intelligence to relevant prospects.
- You develop product stories with available collateral, and connect these stories to demos and proposals.
- You organize relevant online and face-to-face meeting formats - with key decision makers in online retail.
- You are fully responsible for the maintenance and growth of the company's sales database.
- You are working with and developing commercial collateral with colleagues in marketing, product and client success management.

**Your profile**:

- You have at least 2 years of working experience in Digital Marketing, B2B SaaS/Tech Sales or PPC Advertising in particular.
- You can demonstrate professional experience in client acquisition and/or key account management in an international environment (Europe, east-coast US).
- You show advanced prospecting skills (mailing campaigns, cold calling, content tagging, LinkedIn, etc.) and know how to connect with key decision makers.
- You are highly self-organized, structured and like to work independently.
- You are very proactive, solution-oriented and aim to exceed your goals consistently.
- You enjoy working in an international environment and share your know-how with your colleagues.
- You are recognised as a talented and excellent communicator in English - both orally and written. Additional language skills are definitely a Plus

We offer a minimum salary of EUR 2,635 for this position, adjusted to match your qualifications and experience.
