Senior Manager Chip/package/pcb Co-design

In your new role, your responsibilities include:
- The **management of a team in methodology developmen **t including resource planning, definition of responsibilities, **coaching and further development of the team **, as well as the involvement of external consultants for the software development or to mitigate peak loads
- **Ensure adequate staffing of methodology projects, according to project needs **, incl. recruiting of new hires & managing the talent pipeline
- **Guide team strategy and provide orientation **by setting motivating and ambitious targets based on the defined department strategy
- **Being responsible for the budget **in your team and for the coordination with the financial controlling unit
- **Collaboration with project managers, development teams **and **internal customers on methodology**:
- **Report regularly to stakeholders, project managers **as well as **department heads **in and open, clear and active way
- Being the **contact person for all Infineon areas **, as well as external partners (EDA vendors, temporary work) for your area and maintain a network based on trust
You support all the teams in chip/package and PCB implementation and verification through continuous efficiency and quality improvements of the methods and tools provided by your team. As a communicative manager, you cooperate across departmental boundaries and appreciate mutual help in order to achieve common goals. You reflect regularly and learn from successes and failures in order to constantly develop the team. You recognize and use the different knowledge and skills of the team members, get others excited about your own ideas and communicate even complex contexts clearly and convincingly.
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- **A university / university of applied sciences degree in Electrical Engineering **, Physics, Microelectronics or comparable
- Bring in **professional experience as a Team Leader **with the high ability to motivate and grow Teams with your Leadership skills
- **Experience in project-based work **ideally with basic skills in project management
- **Very good communication skills in English **, German language as a plus
- You bring in **professional experience in the field of Package & PCB design **and verification
- Have an **overview of the latest technical solutions **and the Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tool landscape preferably in the area of Package and PCB
- As a plus you have **solid knowledge of software development
