3D-Printing of Pharmaceutical Products

Duties and responsibilities- Design of advanced 3D-printing process chains meeting regulatory and

environmental requirements
- Development of toolboxes and workflows for the economic fabrication of

personalized oral tablets based on advanced 3D-printing
- Development of an enabling concept for a continuous flexible dose strategy based

on advanced 3D-printing
- Demonstration of toolboxes, and workflows, enabling concepts on showcases in

close collaboration with the pharmaceutical industry
- Active participation in the project team involving international scientific and

industrial partners
- Performance of experiments at the site of the international scientific partner
- Writing project reports and publishing results in international, peer-reviewed

journals
- Presentation of results at project meetings and international scientific conferences

**Requirements**:
A technical or natural scientific MS degree and an interest in pursuing a Ph.D. degree
- Theoretical know-how and/or hands-on experience of polymer and composite

powder/melt processing, material characterization and analysis is plus
- Knowledge of Polymer Chemistry is an advantage
- Professional conduct and communication skills in dealing with international clients,

partners and colleagues
- Interest and experience in performing top-level and target-oriented research at the
