**Contribution**
- Set-up of the task structures and project structure in the technical opportunity assessment.
- Together with the Project Manager/Owner define the task/project scope and objectives so that business/technological objectives can be realistically met.
- Responsible for planning and tracking the task / project in order to accomplish its goals within constraints such as time, cost budget and agreed quality standards.
- Work directly with the team members and/or with task leaders to estimate effort, plan activities and negotiate consensus among individual team members on their appointed tasks.
- Continuously monitor progress in terms of the status of the plan; anticipate and catch deviations from a plan or schedule early and keep all participants and stakeholders informed.
- Identify, log, analyse and manage potential and actual issues and risks, taking corrective action by tackling day-to-day issues head on and reviewing how more serious issues and risks might impact on scope, schedule, quality and cost.

**Knowledge, Skills & Experience**
- College diploma or university degree, educational background in engineering or chemistry is a plus
- Basic level project management training and understanding
- Fluent in English language
- 3 years experience in project work, ideally with projects in (chemical) industry and technical surrounding
- Basic commercial understanding, basic legal understanding needed for Open Innovation agreements
- Good negotiating and presentation skills

**This position reports to: Head of Innovation Project Management Office

Location: Linz

Following Austrian law regulations we offer a competitive compensation based on the collective labour agreement chemical industry starting at EUR 57.350;
- annual gross salary if experience is provided as stated above. In addition we offer a yearly bonus and a voluntary company pension plan.
