**Your Responsibilities**:
Are you a legal eagle with a passion for technology? Looking for an opportunity to put your legal expertise to good use and expand your skill set at a successful tech scale-up? Then here’s one contract you’ll want to get your hands on As Legal Counsel you will use your skills in drafting, preparing and negotiating contracts and other legal documents in support of our General Counsel. Based on your strong interest in data protection topics, you will help to shape Meister’s data privacy framework. Your role will also involve providing hands-on legal support for complex data privacy matters affecting day-to-day business. As Legal Counsel you will liaise with customers on legal questions and provide guidance on a variety of legal topics (labor law, civil law, IT law, etc.). Keeping up-to-date on the latest changes to legislation also falls within your remit. **Requirements**:

- A law degree and 3+ years’ work experience in a legal field, ideally in a fast-paced environment or tech startup.
- Expertise in civil law, with a focus on contract law, data protection law (GDPR, CCPA, other international/local regulations), IT law, IP law and corporate law.
- Strong interest in and understanding of technical topics, such as the technical aspects of data protection and data security.
- Excellent knowledge of general legal affairs and understanding of economics.
- Ability to find pragmatic solutions quickly, efficiently and consistently.
- Excellent written and spoken German and English skills, ability to use legal English.
- You have a keen eye for detail and a hands-on approach to your work.
- You are organized, efficient and process-oriented and able to identify inefficiencies in existing processes.
- You have a profound sense of team spirit.
- You approach your work with impeccable integrity.
