**Job position and department´s overview**:

**Your responsibilities**:

- Cultivate and manage relationships with corporate partners for collaborative programs, internships, research sponsorships, executive education, and philanthropy.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the university and its corporate stakeholders.
- Develop tailored partnership proposals and negotiate agreements that support mutual objectives.
- Identify and secure funding opportunities through strategic partnerships, training programs, and consulting initiatives.
- Design and implement a comprehensive business development strategy aligned with the university’s long-term goals.
- Identify new markets, partnership opportunities, and innovative growth channels.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives that enhance institutional visibility and relevance in key industries.
- Collaborate with academic units to develop market-responsive offerings that attract external partners.
- Represent the university at industry events, conferences, and meetings.
- Build networks across sectors to strengthen the university’s reputation and influence.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders including faculty, alumni, advancement, and career services.
- Coordinate with marketing and communications teams to support partnership visibility and branding.
- Contribute to the University’s marketing and student recruitment strategy, support the University’s student recruitment activities in selected markets.

**Your profile**:

- University degree or equivalent.
- Minimum five years full-time relevant work experience in business development / sales-related positions with international exposure, preferably in education or related fields, familiarity with a university environment is an asset.
- Strong organizational skills, proven ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and multitask, broad network in the Austrian business community.
- Proactive, agile and engaged attitude with a business & results-driven mindset.
- Effective planning and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and German (at C-level).
- IT affinity and excellent knowledge of MS office, especially Excel and Outlook
- Valid work permit in Austria.
