**Responsibilities**
The Global Controlling Expert will play a critical role in providing financial oversight across the organization. This position requires a strong focus on reporting across multiple business units and regions in a matrix organization. The role will collaborate closely with regional finance teams, cross-functional departments and HOERBIGER Holding to ensure financial integrity and drive business performance.

He/she ensures smooth processes within finance and controlling, contributes to further development of reporting systems, plays a key role in bringing the data quality and reporting analytics to the next level.
- Manage global month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Drive continuous improvements in global controlling processes
- Implement and standardize best practices across the global organization, ensuring consistency in reporting and budgeting processes
- Work with IT and finance teams to optimize ERP systems for financial reporting and analytics
- Collaborate with regional finance teams to consolidate financial data and provide strategic insights
- Provide oversight of cost center accounting and profitability reporting
- Provide guidance and financial expertise to support decision-making, cost control, and investment opportunities

**Your profile**
- 5+ years’ related experience in finance/controlling
- Proven experience working within a matrix organization, managing complex, multi-national financial structures
- Experience with financial reporting standards and financial consolidation
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage large data sets and translate them into actionable insights
- Advanced knowledge of financial systems, ERP Platforms (SAP S/4HANA), and business intelligence tools
- Proactive, adaptable, and able to thrive in a dynamic, matrix organizational structure
- Fluent in English; proficiency in other languages (e.g. German) is a plus
