- Define and implement Business line (BL) R&D strategy in line with the BLs business strategy
- Actively contribute to the definition of the product development roadmap with the BL and PL Leadership
- Drive structured people development, focus on strengthening R&D disciplines specified sites and enhance cross site collaboration and knowledge-sharing
- Build strong skill-based team structure concept for core competences (analog design, digital design, lab validation)
- Responsible for the organizational development at specified sites and support further technical growth of key experts in different tech fields and cross-site collaboration
- Ensure execution excellence: on-time, in budget and according to agreed requirements of the projects; Define and monitor key KPIs
- Foster decision making at site and within the project
- Ensure balanced project pipelining and adequate staffing of R&D resources
- Collaborate closely with the BL/PL leadership, SSE teams in the assessment of the technical feasibility of potential business opportunities
- University degree in Electrical Engineering or similar, PhD preferred
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in a similar role within R&D
- Experience in a high-tech/semiconductor industry is a must
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment
- Strong leadership skills combined with cultural understanding
- Ability to work and cooperate internationally and interdisciplinary in a matrix organization
- Very good communication and presentation skills in English
- Willingness to travel
