Global Supply Manager

As a Global Supply Manager in our headquarters you are an active member of Doka’s Sales and Operations (S&OP) planning process. Your challenge is to plan the supply streams within our global production and distribution network. By doing so you are ensuring the necessary material availability to maintain high customer service levels. Our best-in-class supply chain planning tool supports in navigating through todays challenging market environment.
As a Global Supply Manager you will focus on the following tasks:
- Ownership and/or active participation in projects to improve our planning processes and methodology
- Development of new tool solutions for material demand and supply planning
- Coordination of parts of the global material demand planning process
- Support in global material supply planning activities (mid
- and short term) including our Distribution Centers and Production
- Being a proactive interface between (Sales) Areas, DC’s, Production and Procurement
- Coordination of bottlenecks in supply
- Development of KPI dashboards to monitor and optimize planning accuracy and supply performance
**Qualifications**:
- Commercial or technical education with focus on Logistics, Supply Chain or Operations Management (Commercial or Technical College, University degree)
- Experience in Operations, Logistics, SCM and/or Controlling of advantage
- Personality with a proactive problem solving approach and strong communication skills
- Personal responsibility and assertiveness
- Passionate about Supply Chain and the management of value streams
- Team player with a high degree of service-orientation and a hands-on mentality
- Very good command of English & German (oral and written)
- Good MS Office skills required (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
**Additional Information**:
We offer a very international working atmosphere, a good transport connection, a modern canteen and a lot more benefits. Partial home office (2 days per week) possible. In addition, the office spaces in Vienna and Linz can also be used.
**A salary in line with the market is offered for this position, which is based on the specific qualification and adequate professional experience.** We are required by law to state a minimum salary. The minimum annual gross salary for this position is 39.101,16 EUR according to the collective agreement (woodworking industry).
