Technical Community Manager

We’re looking for the passionate and outspoken technical community manager to help build and grow the vibrant, engaging and fun community for developers, testers and DevOps practioners.

In this role you’ll be a part of the team building and growing community, a space, where users can share knowledge, find information, and connect with like-minded people in the industry. As a part of the community team, you’ll collaborate with product teams, build relationships with external contributors and influencers. You will host and moderate events and workshops and plan and execute activities to engage and grow our community.

Your role:

- Acting as a point of contact for the industry influencers, building relationships and creating collaborations
- Planning and executing activities to engage existing members as well as win new community members
- Developing and improving the community platform
- Organizing and hosting global digital workshops, roundtables, and special events (both digital and offline) and co-moderating community forum
- Curating user groups around the world and being a main point of contact for the user group leaders.
- Produce, curate, and proofread content created by influencers, define relevant topics for content authors ( blog posts, webinar content, articles)
- Facilitate community engagement using gamification and various reward systems
- Spark, lead, and moderate conversations in the community forum about development methodologies, CI/CD, software testing, software security, etc.

Your qualifications:

- Software development background or a very good understanding of the needs and wants of our technical audience (someone who is able to speak the language)
- Deep expertise in building strong relationships with technical audiences and ability to leverage creative thinking
- Experience as a community manager, ideally building and growing a community of developers or other tech team members
- Experience with planning and hosting online and offline events and roundtables. If you have led an advocacy program in the past this will be a big plus
- Excellent written and spoken English, experience speaking to technical audiences on webinars meetups, and conferences
- Experience planning and executing activities with a focus on community growth, member retention, and activation
- Know and are able to navigate the ecosystem of channels where technical audience spends most of their time
- Not afraid to try new things and learn from failure (or also able to celebrate success)
- Nice to have: Experience with community platform tools Insided, Gainsight, Zapier, and marketing automation tools as well as integrations.
- Nice to have: Active member (or influencer) of dev communities or experience working on open-source projects

An annual package from 39,956 EUR is planned for this position. Willingness to overpay is given (based on qualification).
