Job profile:
Post-doc position (40 hours/week), Department for Teacher Education and School Research as soon as possible. Main tasks: Joint and independent experience-oriented research in the field of inequality-reflective school development; participation in the further design and implementation of the new secondary school teacher training programme at the University of Innsbruck (esp. Educational science basics); content-related and organisational management of a school pedagogical module team within the framework of the current teacher training at the University of Innsbruck; coordination of the departmental research colloquium, cooperation in departmental research projects; cooperation in the institute's own research projects; high-quality research-led teaching; supervision of students and cooperation in the supervision of theses; cooperation in organisation, administration and in university committees. Required qualifications: Completed teaching degree or degree with a focus on educational science or related fields (experience in primary education desirable); completed doctoral or PhD studies in the field of inequality-reflective school development research. Knowledge and experience in dealing with methods of experiential school development research; demonstrably expertise in the methodology and methods of empirical school research, preferably reconstructive research; experience in supervising theses desirable; experience in coordinating research groups, especially master's thesis research groups desirable; very good knowledge of the English language; excellent teamwork and communication skills; flexibility, ability to work under pressure, problem-solving ability.
