Payment Accounts Reconciliation Analyst

OVERVIEW

We are looking for a dedicated and detail oriented Payment Accounts Reconciliation Analyst to join our international team. This position ensures that general ledger transactions of our subsidiaries are properly accounted and reconciled by following the reconciliation process with aim to improve quality and completeness of account reconciliations across the organization.

The Payment Accounts Reconciliation Analyst needs to be able to perform complex and in-depth analysis and research and pay close attentions to details in a time-sensitive, fast-changing dynamic environment. Finally, this role will drive recommendations to improve reconciliations process efficiency and effectiveness through standardization and automation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Main duties and responsibilities
- Daily review and reconciliation of worldwide payment transactions
- Complete monthly accounting reconciliations for balance sheet accounts assigned and participate in the monthly reporting process
- Perform analysis on historical financial data and perform corrections where needed
- Participate in projects for process
- and systems related improvements
- Perform ad-hoc analysis to support management in business decisions
- Collaborate with Technology department in identifying possible system improvements
- Support regular audit requests

**REQUIREMENTS**:
Experience and background
- BA in Finance/Accounting or an equivalent degree
- Minimum 3 years of practical experience working in similar position, in an international environment
- Ability to analyse large volume of data
- Strong Excel knowledge (pivot tables, macros, functions)
- Good English language skills (oral & written)

Personal qualification
- Good analytical skills, being able to work with a large amount of financial data and to present findings in a user-friendly way
- Proactive, independent, goal
- and detail oriented and self-motivating personality
- Organizational skills and the ability to prioritize workload
- Excellent communication skills, especially when working with different target groups within an international environment
- Proven ability to work in a matrix organization with teams distributed in different time zones
- Ability to adapt to fast changes
