To enable knowledge transfer about potential Active Ingredients and technologies for development of proprietary products, we are looking for a competent person as interface to external Research/Discovery Partners at our location in 1220 Vienna.

**DISCOVERY MANAGER (M/F/D) - INTERFACE TO EXTERNAL RESEARCH PARTNERS**:
to promote Green Actives

**Your tasks**:

- Keep track of and guide the scientific work of external research and discovery partners
- Provide the basis for internal decision making in the steering group
- Coordinate the knowledge transfer between the research groups and internal development unit
- Initiate and manage (funded) research projects, together with scientific partners as well as contribute to development and registration projects
- Building up scientific network to access technologies and innovation

**Your skills**:

- Relevant university degree in biochemistry, organic chemistry, microbiology or similar
- Min. 5 years of work experience in research of biochemical processes and good knowledge about methods and techniques employed
- Technical understanding of chemical and biological plant protection products
- Experience in the discovery phase of product development
- Scientific network to assemble teams for new scientific questions
- Entrepreneurship and high sense of responsibility
- Good process and project management skills
- Fluent in English, good command of German an advantage
- Ability to communicate and work in a team
- Very good analytical thinking and structured way of working
- Organizational and problem-solving skills
- Outside the box thinking, open-minded

**Our offer**:

- Gross yearly salary of at least € 70.000,
- Willingness to overpay, depending on your professional qualifications and experience

- Location (1220 Vienna, Austria) with very good accessibility by public transport
- Home office up to 2 days per week
