**YOUR CHALLENGE**:

- Compliance manager acting as the key responsible for the compliance related matters within the Vienna Advisory Office of Julius Baer Group AG (including MiFID II and WAG 2018).
- Ensure KYC, AML and EDD standards - as requested by the local regulator and the Group’s Standards - are fully implemented and reflected in the local policies and processes.
- Perform and duly document the compliance controls executed in relation to client onboarding, periodic client review, transactional analysis, client investigations, etc.
- Perform compliance risk assessments by adequately identifying, documenting and mitigating the potential risks and/or duly escalating cases to the senior management’s attention
- Ensure timely and adequate reporting from a local regulatory perspective as well as to Group’s Head Office on required topics: Financial Crime Risk Assessment, Risk Tolerance Framework, Risk and Control Self-Assessment, etc.
- As part of an international wealth management company, ensure compliance with the Global Minimum Standards and Global Minimum controls applicable across the Group by implementing adequate internal policies, processes and controls.
- Duly file and report Suspicious Activity reports to the local FIU
- Act as a point of contact for the local regulator / supervisory authorities in all matters required by your function| role
- Ensure full support during audit sessions by local regulator and/or Group’s internal audit and follow up on the remediation of the identified points within the defined timeline
- Develop, implement, and provide adequate training & education, of AML policies and procedures to the local business/relationship managers
- Support and provide advice in particular for Business / relationship management, as well as to local JBIA Management, in all areas of Legal & Compliance as well as AML and Risk Management
- Internal & external reporting: creation / analysis / further development of reports
- Close coordination with other compliance specialists and business management within the Group
- Support internal Compliance projects
- Recommend, develop, and implement innovative solutions in the core processes, to support continuous improvement of the local and Group-wide processes, procedures, and services

**YOUR PROFILE**:

- Master’s degree in law / economics / business administration, postgraduate studies in Compliance Management or equivalent
- 7-10 years of experience in Private Banking Compliance / AML Department
- Knowledge of the Austrian and EU regulatory environment and international Client Due Diligence Standards
- Previous working experience as part of a Swiss / International banking Group
- Sound knowledge of the region Russia, Central & Eastern Europe in particular
- Fluent in German and English, good knowledge of Russian and/or Ukrainian required
- Strong personality with good organizational and operational skills and ability to work under pressure
- Strong sense of integrity and discretion
- Excellent communication skills
- Independent, efficient and meticulous work method
- Solution oriented
- Good knowledge of MS Office and IT flair
