Tasks and responsibilities:
As Manager for International Procurement you will be responsible for and manage an international and interdisciplinary team (AT, CZ, USA and CN) of about 100 people, which is responsible for the global material supply of our operations. Together with your experienced management team, you will organize processes and tasks to make our up-stream supply chain cost-effective and support our ambitious growth plans. To reach these goals, you will continue to expand and establish strategic partnerships with our suppliers. As a member of our Operations Management team, you will work together in a team with the COO to further the development of our Operations and play a key role in shaping the sustainable value network for the future of Fronius.- Develop a global sourcing strategy as process owner for all sourcing activities of our global Operations.- Review and optimize existing processes, IT tools, terms and conditions and contracts- Independently structure and manage strategic and operational tasks to continuously improve the procurement activities within the company.- Bundle and negotiate contracts and standards with current and future key suppliers- Ensure an optimal supplier landscape that meets the strategic and operational needs of the business.- Optimize and continuously improve cost efficiency in procurement / initiate and manage procurement excellence programs within the Group- Implement management KPIs in line with strategy- Continuously optimize cross-site and cross-country processes and generate cross-departmental synergies- Develop your team and its capabilities with clear roles, responsibilities and processes to ensure reliable supply- Develop purchasing strategies for various categories (e.g. semiconductors, injection and die casting, inductive components, packaging materials, etc.)- Budget responsibility for all international procurement- Implementation of an adequate purchasing controlling system- Responsibility for optimizing inventory value development- Ensure supply chain compliance
**Requirements**:
- 5+ years of work experience in a similar environment (company with focus on manufacturing electronics or experience in working with a manufacturing service provider for electronic components)- Solid experience in procurement/supply chain at top or middle management level- Completed studies in economics or technology- Strong business process skills and technical understanding- Experience in building a global procurement organization- Experience in negotiating comprehensive contracts in English, as well as knowledge of contract law- Comprehensive know-how of modern tools and ERP systems for managing national and international suppliers as well as knowledge of various commodity groups- Demonstrated proficiency in setting up structures and processes in a global context- Very good English and German skills- Willingness to travel
For this position we offer an attractive All-In salary well above the collective agreement of the electrical and electronic industry. The minimum wages of the collective agreement are between € 5,257.58 and € 5,888.54 - we offer more. The exact amount depends on your qualification and experience.
