**About the role** **LOCATION**:Austria - Vienna **HOURS**:Full-Time or part-time for 30h/week **TYPE OF CONTRACT**:Temporary until June 30, 2026 - Make legal support real - We are currently looking for a Legal Counsel (M/F//d) located in our head office in Vienna to provide high quality legal support mainly in the area of commercial law, intellectual property law and technology cooperations with customers and suppliers. - In this role you are responsible for: - Reviewing, drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, including agreements with a focus on intellectual property, technology licenses and non-disclosure agreements. - Managing disputes and litigation. - Updating/developing contract templates. - Holding legal trainings. - Managing external lawyers. - Acting as legal sparring partner for Borealis business managers. **About you** - a Master’s degree in Law and at least 5 years of experience in a law firm or legal department of a company - fluency and excellent contract drafting skills in English; German skills would be a plus - excellent knowledge of international contract and commercial law - excellent communication and presentation skills - good understanding of technical and commercial issues - strong negotiation-, project management - and conflict resolution - skills - a high problem solving competence and results-orientation, good business judgement - an ability to establish and maintain effective cross-organizational and cross cultural relationships, ability to manage stakeholder involvement - a "hands-on" personality bringing great sense of responsibility/reliability, high level of commitment, dedication and social intelligence - a high degree of independence, ability to take decisions following the guidance of the line manager and taking into account of business needs - an ability to take ownership for the dedicated area of support and for the development of best practices - an ability to work in a matrix organization, and follow internal procedures and guidelines **Our offer** - Borealis has competitive compensation and benefits which you can read more about on our Career Page. - We offer competitive compensation based on the collective labor agreement, starting at EUR 80.000 annual gross salary (based on 38 hrs/week) and a yearly bonus. - For this role in Vienna we also offer: - Hybrid working - Free ticket for public transport & subsidized parking - Subsidized canteen - Fitness allowance - Health & Wellbeing offers **Application Process** - If you have any questions, please contact Claudia Preslmaier, - At Borealis, we are committed to an equal recruitment process.
