**Compliance Specialist on Crypto Assets - (f/m/x)**:**Your mission**:Your mission will be to stay at the pulse of blockchain/DLT and crypto related regulations and to discuss and develop business and compliance processes in RBI group. You will actively shape the way how RBI group will progress in the field of blockchain/DLT and work closely with our Business Departments, IT teams and strategy departments to define RBI’s roadmap into a blockchain/DLT based future. Although the role will be embedded in RBI’s Group Compliance division, you will directly work within business and strategy teams to ensure a close link to all functions.
**Your focus**:
- Take responsibility in blockchain/DLT based projects having an end-to-end view to ensure regulatory compliance and business processes in RBI group
- Observe regulatory requirements & developments in the evolving blockchain/DLT area from a compliance perspective covering AML & counter-terrorist financing, investor protection, market conduct, financial sanctions and other compliance risk fields
- Providing guidance to the RBI Blockchain Hub Team on applicable RBI policies and regulatory requirements & triggering necessary changes in existing regulations to comply with new regulations applicable on RBI markets
- Actively engage with relevant stakeholders in compliance and business of RBI group to create a group-wide understanding of blockchain/DLT solutions
- Cooperating & exchange with regulatory and law enforcement authorities on crypto assets product development
**Why you**:
- At least 3-5 years of experience in a compliance department of a financial institution or FinTech or with a financial market regulator or consultancy firm
- Experience with and expertise in traditional financial products, brokerage and different B2B(2C) products
- Operational experience with compliance monitoring systems (payments/securities transactions) is an advantage
- Experience with Crypto-currency monitoring tools is an advantage (e.g. Chainalysis, Elliptic, etc.)
- Strong passion for crypto related regulations (e.g. EU's Markets in Crypto Assets Regulation and 6 th AML Directive)
- Entrepreneurial mindset and strong ability to work with deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills
- Fluent in English
