**Expert Science & Technology - Particle Characterization (f/m/d), TRD, Schaftenau, Austria**
- As Expert you will be part of the Particle Specialty Team of Process Analytical Sciences at our TRD Biologics site in Schaftenau.**Your key responsibilities**:
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provides senior expertise in the field of particle identification (e.g. Raman, FT-IR)
- Drives operational excellence through innovative approaches such as machine learning and evaluation of digital tools
- Participates in internal particle initiatives and supports dedicated development packages
- In charge to drive trouble shooting for particle methods and analytical systems

**Minimum requirements**

**What you’ll bring to the role**:
**Essential**:

- Senior expertise in particle analytical methods (FT-IR, RAMAN, SEM-EDX, LIBS) and spectra interpretation
- Scientific expertise in the area of protein particles
- Ability to work in a team
- Ability to work in a matrix environment
- Strong customer focus
- Sound technical and scientific knowledge of pharmaceutical development, analytical sciences, or equivalent
- Strong sense of urgency and responsibility

**Desirable requirements**:

- Advanced degree in life sciences
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry

In accordance with Austrian law, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary as stated in the collective bargaining agreement. For this position the minimum salary is € 49.804,58/year (on a full time basis).
