Our client, an international SaaS business expanding its operations across the EU, is seeking an AI & MLOps Engineer to play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining ML workflows and AI agent systems. You will be part of a dynamic Cloud & AI Competence team where innovation, quality, and reliable delivery are core values. In this role, you will design AI agents and orchestrate AI-driven workflows, taking them from initial prototyping in notebooks all the way through to robust production deployment. You’ll build custom environments for ML, ensuring they are scalable, resilient, and maintainable. You’ll embrace modern cloud services to support your work, and embed MLOps best practices to enable continuous delivery, monitoring, versioning, rollback, automated retraining, and drift detection. Working in an Agile team, you’ll help promote improvements, mentor colleagues, and ensure that production machine learning models are reliable and performant. You will need solid experience in software development with Python, a deep understanding of machine learning concepts, and practical experience bringing models into production. You should have familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP), containerisation or orchestration tools (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes), as well as monitoring, logging and alerting around ML systems. A quality mindset, attention to detail, strong analytical thinking, and ability to maintain calm under pressure are essential. Strong communication skills are also important – you’ll regularly work with stakeholders across product, engineering, operations, and business teams, explaining technical concepts clearly and managing expectations. You should be comfortable documenting designs, maintaining versioned pipelines, and helping shape the architectural and operational standards for ML in production.
