You'll have a solid grounding in compliance and the drive to grow into a Senior Client Manager role within 3 years. A loyal, diverse client base of small business owners who value relationships. What You'll Be Doing Working directly with a mix of individual and small business clients. Preparing and reviewing tax returns, BAS, and financial statements for all entity types. Participating in tax planning, compliance, and strategy discussions. Being mentored to take ownership of your own client list and manage relationships confidently. Supporting team members and contributing to workflow improvements. Shadowing client meetings initially, with the goal of leading them independently within 12 months. Career Pathway Immediate: Shadowing client meetings and building confidence. Within 12 months: Independently managing client interactions and guiding them through compliance and small business basics. Within 3 years: Stepping into a Senior Client Manager role, managing relationships and contributing to business growth. What You'll Bring Strong base in compliance for small/medium mum and dad businesses. Experience preparing individual and base-level company tax returns. Ability to interpret financial statements confidently. Desire to deepen knowledge in superannuation, pensions, and SMSFs. Proficiency in Xero and Xero Practice Manager (XPM); bonus points for experience with FYI and BGL360. Excellent communication skills: verbal, written, and digital (Teams, phone, email).
