About the Role Exciting opportunities exist for a skilled clinician to join either the Early Psychosis TeamInfant, Child & Youth Mental Health Wellbeing ServicesAdult Community Mental Health TeamMental Health Advice and Response Services Our multidisciplinary professionals are from an array of backgrounds and disciplines and work across a range of settings and services including: Adult Mental HealthCommunity Mental HealthAcute Adult Inpatient Unit - Aged Persons Mental HealthChild and Youth Mental Health Who Were Looking For Psychologists must have current psychology registration with the Psychology Board of AustraliaSound knowledge of principles and practice of psychiatric careDemonstrates competence in completion of a comprehensive assessment of consumers suffering mental illness including mental state examination and risk assessmentWell-developed interpersonal and communication skillsProven ability to liaise and negotiate with other staff and agenciesEvidence of ability to work with consumers in a family, gender, culture and diversity sensitive mannerA sound knowledge of the Mental Health Act (Vic) 2024.
