About the Role Exciting opportunities exist for a skilled clinician to join either the Early Psychosis TeamInfant, Child & Youth Mental Health Wellbeing ServicesAdult Community Mental Health TeamMental Health Advice and Response Services Our multidisciplinary professionals are from an array of backgrounds and disciplines and work across a range of settings and services including: Adult Mental HealthCommunity Mental HealthAcute Adult Inpatient Unit - Aged Persons Mental HealthChild and Youth Mental Health Who Were Looking For Social Workers must be eligible for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) Minimum of three-year post-graduate experienceSound knowledge of principles and practice of psychiatric careDemonstrates competence in completion of a comprehensive assessment of consumers suffering mental illness including mental state examination and risk assessmentWell-developed interpersonal and communication skillsProven ability to liaise and negotiate with other staff and agenciesEvidence of ability to work with consumers in a family, gender, culture and diversity sensitive mannerA sound knowledge of the Mental Health Act (Vic) 2024.
