We are a passionate and open-minded group of software enthusiasts, and together, we are global market leader in software intelligence. By providing actionable data on how applications are performing in real- time - for example, crash reporting, server-side tracking, root-cause analysis to name a few - our full-stack monitoring platform helps our customers anticipate and resolve their software issues. We have made it our mission to ensure that millions of people worldwide have an excellent user experience, made possible through a unique combination of observability, automation, and AI - all compacted into one cloud-based software intelligence platform.
The Edge Data Platform solution (EDP) streamlines data ingestion, cloud installation, and third-party data integration. It provides a unified data collection method for easy consumption while meeting the customers where they are. We are looking for a skilled Product Manager to take ownership of the EDP product experience through collaboration, stakeholder alignment, deep product insight, and championing user needs. In this role, you will apply your strong UX/CX expertise, product management skills, and technical understanding to shape and evolve the EDP experience, ensuring our customers receive exceptional value at every interaction with the platform.
Your responsibilities include:
-Lead and shape our solutions experience by designing intuitive, high-impact end-to-end workflows that unify complex systems into seamless user journeys.
-Develop and implement UX strategies towards an outstanding end-to-end solution experience including APIs and platform-level interactions. Ensure that internal and external interfaces are discoverable, usable and designed with the developer empathy in mind, increasing customer value and driving business results.
-Champion behind-the-scenes UX automation to reduce friction, simplify decision-making, and create intelligent defaults that streamline the user journey without sacrificing control.
-Lead aggregation and simplification initiatives by designing smart ways to unify disparate data and features into coherent and actionable interfaces that reduce cognitive load.
-Apply customer- and user-centric thinking to define target audiences, use cases, needs, and pain points. Gain a deep understanding of customer expectations through effective collaboration, user research, and analysis of customer feedback.
-Define and lead end-to-end customer journeys and workflows. Ensure UX consistency and clarity in inter-component communication, shaping how different product modules interact from a user perspective - providing transparency, continuity, and traceability across workflows.
-Contribute to product roadmap planning with experience optimizations of new product deliverables in alignment with the product strategy to boost adoption and retention. Ensure the solution delivers engaging end-to-end user journeys that are intuitive, easy to use, and highlight the value of the area.
-Drive strategies for early adoption and hands-on testing to validate assumptions and obtain valuable feedback early on. Leverage internal customers and self-adoption of the product to co-shape value and differentiation hypotheses of new product opportunities.
-Establish workflows for collecting and analyzing qualitative and quantitative product usage in collaboration with the growth department to continuously enhance and refine the user experience, ensuring the product evolves in response to changing user needs and market dynamics.
-Improve in-product experiences to support growth initiatives for upselling and cross-selling within and across solutions.
What will help you succeed- 8+ years of product management experience in a software product environment and/or 6+ years of experience in a user experience leadership function.
- Strong knowledge of UX/CX, including customer journeys, personas, use case development, market, business, and competitive analysis - gained from either a product management or user experience perspective.
- Proven experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams of product managers, engineers, designers, and other business stakeholders.
- Experience in designing and implementing UX automation patterns, including background processes that reduce manual configuration, improve guidance, and support smart defaults.
- Ability to simplify complex systems through aggregation, abstraction, or smart interface design that highlights key value without overwhelming users.
- Understanding of UX patterns for component-to-component interactions, especially within modular product architectures or platform ecosystems, focusing on usability, discoverability, and reducing onboarding time.
- Innovative thinking - ability to bring market and business understanding into the product to deliver differentiated value for customers and prospects, aligned with Dynatrace's goals and strategy.
- Strong interest in and understanding of technical topics such as Software Intelligence, Cloud Technologies, Artificial Intelligence, Application Security, SaaS Software, etc.
- Proactive and hands-on personality with high drive and a dynamic mindset.
- Clear sense of ownership and accountability, strong communication skills towards team, peers, and stakeholders alike, as well as a bias for action.

- Working with the latest technologies and at the forefront of innovation in tech on scale; but also, in other areas like marketing, design, or research.
- A team that thinks outside the box, welcomes unconventional ideas, and pushes boundaries.
- An environment that fosters innovation, enables creative collaboration, and allows you to grow.
